Four-Links – 1956 Motorama, post-Packard Packards, Vinsetta update, Zora’s Le Mans map

* Not too long ago we saw some of Alex Tremulis’s photos from the 1955 Paris Motor Show, and this week Steve Tremulis at Gyronaut X-1 treated us to some of Alex’s shots from the 1956 Motorama, including a couple of the Pontiac Strato Star, above.

* Over at Consumer Guide’s Daily Drive, Frank Peiler envisioned the 1957 Packard in alternative universes where, instead of Packard using Studebaker bodies, it used Imperial, Nash, Cadillac, or Lincoln bodies.

* We’re a little late with this one, but the Vinsetta Garage on Woodward Avenue in Detroit (a landmark we’ve covered before) re-opened as a garage-themed restaurant back in June. Harlo at The Chicane recently stopped by.

* A neat follow-up to the story of the Allard JR that Zora Arkus-Duntov drove at Le Mans: The Allard Register uncovered the map that Zora made of the Le Mans track, noting his speeds and critical distances.
